About MyHouseGlow | Permanent Lighting Pinellas County

Your Guide

We understand the house. Then we light it.

MyHouseGlow is Gary and Ryan — a lighting designer and an aluminum installer who got tired of watching homeowners pay for permanent lights that still looked cheap.

Empathy

We know why temporary lights feel wrong on a nice home.

We understand how frustrating it is when the holidays arrive, friends and family are coming over, and the only option is climbing ladders to hang temporary lights that never quite match your home.

A neighbor of ours paid for permanent lighting. From the street it was too close, too strong, and too much — all year. Up close, Ryan saw the rest: exposed wire, weak connections, and sloppy transitions from track to track. That’s the job we refused to copy.

The two of us

An artist. A certified low-voltage installer. An aluminum expert.

You don’t need an electrician draping wire on a house you care about. You need the right lights in the right place — Christmas when you want Christmas, and a quiet architectural glow the other 80% of the year.

Gary

Lighting expert · mockup & vision

30+ years installing low-voltage landscape lighting. Trained by Nate Mullin, a founder of Unique Lighting. Trained 30+ installers across the country. Won Unique Lighting’s monthly best photo and install contest 25 times.

Gary designs the look: focal points, spacing, and how the house should feel on a Tuesday night — not only on December 24th.

Ryan

Installer · aluminum & heights

20+ years in exterior home improvements. Built and designed aluminum pool cages and seamless gutters. Still runs that company with his son. Florida 2½-story homes and tall peaks don’t rattle him. Twenty-foot ladders and boom lifts are his normal Tuesday.

Ryan oversees every install and always does the final walkthrough himself. Corners are mitered. Connections are mechanical. No shortcuts on the parts you never see.

What we won’t do

If they’re not talking focal points and connections, they’re the wrong company.

Most of the year you don’t want overpowering Christmas lights. A system has to be designed for both: the holidays, and the quiet nights when the house should simply look like itself — only better.

Done properly, this is remarkably maintenance-free. A clean install should last years — even a decade — before lights need replacing. After you hire us, you should never climb a ladder, store a box of strings, or wonder who is coming back in January.
