Pool Cage Lighting Pinellas County
Beautiful Every Night.

Your lanai after dark should feel like a resort — not a dark cage with one porch bulb. Permanent 1-inch puck lights mount to the big aluminum beams, stay up year-round, and wash the deck in clean light every evening.

The system

What permanent pool cage lighting actually is

Not string lights. Not tape stuck to the screen. A one-time install of 1-inch wet-location LED pucks on the underside of the large aluminum beams, 8 inches on center.

  • 1-inch puck lights on the main rafters, ridge, and hips only
  • Smaller cross beams and purlins stay dark
  • 8 inch spacing, aimed straight down at the deck
  • Low-voltage (12V / 24V) with hidden cable
  • Saturated blue as the default evening look — warm white or color when you want it
  • Installed once. No yearly take-down.

How you’ll use it

What you can do with it

Warm white most nights. Color when it counts. The cage becomes extra living space after sunset — dinner, swim, holidays, or a Lightning game — without hanging a single string.

Everyday living

Warm white at dusk so the lanai is actually usable. Dim it for conversation. Brighten it when someone is in the pool.

Holiday color scenes on a pool cage with permanent puck lighting

Holidays without the ladder

Christmas, Halloween, and the 4th stay on a schedule. No clips on the screen. No take-down in January.

Entertaining

Color and motion for a party. Soft white when the guests go home. The pool picks up the grid in the water.

A finished look

A dark cage looks unfinished. Clean puck lines on the large beams look intentional — like good landscape lighting on the front of the house.

Want this on your enclosure? Send a couple of daytime photos of the cage. We’ll show you the evening version before anything gets installed.

Accent Your Space with Adjustable Color Sconces

Wall lighting that adapts to your evening.

Complete your lanai’s transformation by pairing your permanent cage lights with our wet-rated, color-adjustable wall sconces. Perfect for the exterior walls of your home inside the enclosure, these fixtures add depth and character to your patio without cluttering the space.

  • Warm White to Full Color: Keep it a classic, inviting warm white for a quiet Tuesday evening, or switch to vibrant colors for a weekend pool party or holiday—all from the same app on your phone.
  • Seamless Control: Sync your wall sconces with your overhead pool cage pucks to create cohesive, stunning lighting scenes.
  • Florida-Tough: Just like our puck lights, these sconces are IP-rated and built to withstand Pinellas County humidity, salt air, and summer storms. No cheap plastics that fade in the sun.

Looking to complete the look? Let us know you want to add sconces when you send over your daytime cage photos, and we'll factor it into your clear, upfront quote.

Florida-built

Built for Pinellas County Climate

Tape lights fail in one Pinellas summer. These are 1-inch wet-location pucks on the large aluminum beams — low-voltage, hidden wiring, left up year-round.

Wet-location pucks

IP66 or better. Aimed down from the main rafters, ridge, and hips. Not indoor lights draped over the cage.

Fastened to aluminum

Mechanical fasteners. Hidden cable. The cage can flex in wind without the lights peeling off.

Low-voltage near the pool

12V or 24V on the cage. Driver off the water. No strings hanging over the pool.

If it was built for a TV backlight, skip it. Fill out the form. We’ll come see the lanai and spec the lights that belong on this house.

Pool cage lighting in St. Petersburg, Clearwater & Pinellas County

We install permanent 1-inch LED puck lights on aluminum pool cages, lanais, and screen enclosures across Pinellas County. Salt air, bay humidity, and tight HOAs get the same spec: pucks on the large beams only, hidden low-voltage cable, clean daytime look — no dangling string lights.

HOAs in Shore Acres, Snell Isle, East Lake, and similar neighborhoods usually care about daytime appearance. Frame-mounted puck lights that sit tight to the beam are easier to approve than clip-on holiday strings. If your city or association has a rule, we flag it before you commit. Serving pool cages and screened lanais from St. Pete Beach to Tarpon Springs.

Not sure if we cover your street? Send the Pinellas address and two daytime photos of the cage. If the enclosure is in the county, we want the photos.

Do the cage first if it needs it

Pair pool cage lighting with a screen that’s actually tight

Permanent puck lights look best on a cage that isn’t sagging, torn, or oxidized. If the screens are brittle or the frame needs hardware, rescreen first — or do lights and screens in one visit.

  • New screens make the puck grid read clean at night
  • Loose spline and rusted screws show up under light
  • One schedule instead of two crews tearing up the lanai

Lights and screens, same backyard.

Send photos of the enclosure. We’ll tell you if it needs a rescreen before the pucks go on — or if the frame is ready now.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Will I see the lights during the day?

You’ll see a small puck on the underside of the large beams. You should not see a mess of wires or clip-on plastic. Smaller cross beams stay clean.

Is it bright enough to use the pool at night?

Yes, when set to a bright white. Most people keep a lower living level for evenings and bump brightness when someone is in the water.

Is color-changing tacky?

Only if you leave it on neon every night. Default should be warm white or a soft saturated blue. Color is for holidays, games, and parties.

Do I need a permit?

Low-voltage decorative lighting on an existing cage is often simpler than new 120V work near a pool, but Pinellas cities differ. We handle the electrical correctly and tell you if your city or HOA needs anything extra.

Will salt air kill it?

A wet-location puck with stainless fasteners lasts. Indoor-rated tape and plastic clips will not.

Can I control it from my phone?

Yes. On/off, dimming, colors, schedules, and scenes. Many systems also work with a small remote.

What does it cost?

It depends on cage size and how many large beams we light. You’ll get a number after we see the cage — not a bait price.

How long does install take?

Most homes are completed in a day or two once the job is scheduled, depending on size and power location.

Still have a question? Send the address and a couple of photos. We’ll answer against your actual cage.
